Tine arm bearings as far away from hub as possible to ensure the highest stability: especially important on bumpy ground.
Maintenance-free arm bearings and bearings spaced as wide apart as possible: essential to minimise stress. Strength and long service life without additional maintenance.

The heavy-duty rotor transmission
is submerged in oil, and on the EuroTOP 421 and 461 is completely sealed - no maintenance required. Large diameter gear wheel guarantees smooth running and a long service life.

LONG LIFE

Large diameter cam track
- computer optimised for consistently smooth cam track control. No sudden ramps, so there is no jerking of the control levers as on smaller diameter cam tracks. Much less stress on the whole control system.

Encapsulated and maintenance-free
The complete system is fully encapsulated and maintenance-free. No contamination, dust-free. The cam track need only be lubricated once a year!

The windrower faithfully follows in the tractor's tracks. The windrower automatically swings to the centre position when lifted. Optimum safety even on slopes. The shock absorbing struts are ideal for slopes.

The additional jockey wheel and chain top link provide a genuine three-point contour tracking system near the point where the tines contact the crop.
Top tracking ensures tidy swathes even in adverse conditions.
Tines do not scratch ground even on bumps.
Tines are subject to much less wear - longer service life.

TOP work, higher working speeds with EUROTOP tandem axles

With the wide axles and wide wheels near the point where the tines contact the ground, the best possible ground tracking is guaranteed: no jumping or scratching on uneven ground or on slopes.
Four large balloon tyres compensate for any big bumps.
The staggered wheel axle system ensures that the rotor moves up and down only half as much as with single axles or conventional tandem axles.
The crop remains clean and the stubble undamaged even at high forward speed.
The angle of the axles can be adjusted easily to ensure tidy work in all conditions.

MULTITAST - Raking up front
The level compensation of the frame and front jockey wheel guide the windrower with precision over uneven ground. A knuckle joint ensures that there is sufficient freedom of movement to the sides. A stabiliser prevents oscillation during transport.

EUROTOP tandem-axles are adjustable.
By straight-forward adjustment of the inclination, clean raking is achieved over the full radius in all operating conditions with all kinds of crop.

Front jockey wheel
On the EUROTOP 380 F/H and 340 U front-mounted models, the front jockey wheel (which is located outside the rotor) guides the windrower precisely over uneven ground (patented design).

The new TOP 1252 features reliable performance, excellent ground adaptation and long service life – fourrotor technology for the future.

TOP 1252
The robust frame construction and the large TopTech rotors are designed to cope with the harshest operating conditions. Clever technical details enable reliable operations combined with maximum convenience: No oil check and no oil change are required in the sealed, dustproof rotor unit - no leakage problems. The rotor gearbox itself is also sealed for life, running in low-viscosity grease.

If required, the tine arm and cam roller can quickly and easily be replaced by loosening just two bolts. The widely-spaced tine arm bearings guarantee high stability in a Pöttinger system which has been successfully proven for years. The working width can easily be adjusted from 9.50 to 12.50 m / 31.17 to 41.01’.
In its new four-rotor windrower, Pöttinger has developed a unique hybrid drive technology: hydraulic at the front, mechanical at the rear. The hydraulic drive of the front rotors enables the extending arms to be pivoted inwards for a transport height of only 4 m without removing tine arms or folding safety guards. Annoying setup times are therefore a thing of the past.

Perfect ground adaptation
The windrowing quality of the TOP 1252 using its 6-wheel system ticks every box in terms of ground adaptation: fully articulated rotor mounting, tandem axles with swivel wheels and the leading multi-tast jockey wheel guarantee precise guiding of the tines. The outcome is outstanding forage quality with protection of the sward at the same time. The sixth wheel within the rotor is an optional extra. The implement can then quickly and easily be converted for use in straw by moving the multi-tast jockey wheel. This ground-hugging system is unique and meets the most stringent of demands.

Operation is via the tractor’s hydraulic connections or, as an option, via the Power Control easy-to-use control panel.
