Hitch-On – The 3 Click Strategy
1. Connect the mowing unit to the Weiste triangle and fix on the retaining chains.
2. Plug in the drive shaft.
3. Connect up basic shaft hydraulics.

Rapid-Reaction Spring-activated floating
Two large springs are built into the hitch-on rack.
They provide even suspension of the mowing unit over a large
working area and in all working conditions.
Springs stabilise the mower when turning on the headlands.

Lifting – A simply acting cylinder is enough.

The “active” support frame
Every movement of the mowing unit controls the frame  and activates the “floating cut”. If the terrain falls, the frame lowers, if the terrain rises, the frame lifts. Unrivalled protection of turf by perfect guidance over every ground contour – even at high speed and on wet ground. The mowing unit is protected from sharp impacts. 

Additional lifting height through the “active” support frame – the ground clearance is also increased.

Hitch-on rack
Alpha-motion, the recently developed front technology, heralds a new age of disc and drum mowers. The mower can be hitched to any tractor of between 60 and 300 hp – regardless of model and size. The various different front linkages have no effect on the suspension and ground tracking of the front mower unit.
It takes just a few minutes to hitch up.

Circle of α-motion

The advantages of Alpha motion:

1. Mower can float by +/- 9.84” / 250 mm, or 19.69” / 500 mm in total, above or below the tractors front wheel level.
2. Angle of inclination of cutter-bar self-adjusts by +12°upwards, -9° downwards, so significantly less risk of soil damage and reduces wear.
3. Higher speeds can be reached – without having to remove the mowing unit.
4. Optimum protection of turf and machine.
5. Clearance of 13.78” / 350 mm on headland turns and transport setting.

7. Mower unit moves almost vertically, small slide paths on the drive shaft and significantly lower dynamic loads.

EUROCAT with infinitely-variable cutting height adjustment system The height of all 4 drums can be adjusted simultaneously from above. The heavy-duty adjustment system is fully sealed in a metal housing encapsulated by a rubber boot.
