Disc bearings / stone protection
   Small disc distances
Coulter discs made of recycled special steel are an aggressive working tool. The offset arrangement of the two disc bars ensures a good mixture of soil and straw. The large discs, with their 20’ / 51 cm diameter, are available in either grooved or smooth variants. The small 4.92’ / 12.5 cm distance between discs makes it possible to effectively fit 8 discs per meter of working width.

4.92’ / 12.5 cm distance between discs

Best traction
The discs are tilted from both the direction of travel and the ground. This position ensures better traction in the soil. The optimized adjustment angle (15°) is the same for both rows of discs. This results in the best possible trailer conditions without pulling to the side.

 Nonstop stone protection

Maintenance-free non-stop stone protection!
Each disc is fastened to the disc frame with clamps. In the middle, four rubber elements ensure the fastening of the disc elements. The large diameter of the rubber elements (1.57’ / 40 mm) allows the discs to move aside easily. This prevents sticking on stones.
When foreign bodies are encountered, the integrated rubber elements allow the discs to move aside. After the obstacle is past, the coulter discs are automatically moved back into the working position.
  PERFECT

Precision adjustment
Depending on the type of soil, working depth and speed, the two rows of discs can be moved centrally in 4 stages.

Maintenance-free bearings
The two-row slanted ball bearings were adopted from the construction machine industry. Their robustness and reliability are therefore guaranteed. The
relative arrangement of the bearings results in better absorption of axial and radial shocks.
The bearing is oil-lubricated and thus maintenance-free.
A 6-ply labyrinthine gasket seals the bearings
completely.

DISC ROLLER

Disc rollers (23.6’ / 60 cm in diameter) are advantageous due to their increased crumbling and consolidation using wedge-shaped rings. The blades between the rings break up the clods and also clean between them.
Strip-wise consolidation has the advantage that water is absorbed better.
The right choice for dry, heavy soil.

BAR CAGE ROLLER

The ideal roller for working dry, non-sticky soil. The roller is equipped with nine strong studs for optimum consolidation. Diameter 21.3’ / 54 cm, low maintenance and wear costs.
The dual bar cage rollers have different diameters – 16.5’ / 42 cm in front and 15’ / 38 cm in back.

CUTTING PACKER ROLLER

New from Pöttinger. The cutting packer roller with welded packing rings closed on the sides.
21.6’ / 55 cm diameter, with 8 packer rings for each meter of working width.
The roller leaves a stripwise consolidation: this supports water absorption and allows the soil to breathe. The ideal roller for rocky, moist soil conditions and high proportions of organic matter.

ROTOPACK ROLLER

Two aggressive, meshing tined discs are particularly effective at crumbling and mixing. Each roller consists of a central pipe. The front roller has a diameter of 10.6’ 27 cm, and the back roller 8.5’ / 21.5 cm. The swing mounting allows the best possible adjustment to uneven soil.
The rotopack roller is particularly suitable for lighter, non-sticky soil.
  PERFECT

The trailing rollers of the Terradisc take care of depth working. A precisely adjustable slotted bracket 1 allows different working depths to be selected.

Detailed information

Mulching in orchards and vineyards is taking on increasing significance. Organic material is mixed with soil, improving its fertility and reducing erosion. The treatment is also a mechanical means of weed control.

VINODISC: Working width

The VINODISC has a modular construction. This allows working widths of 3.93, 4.76 and 5.58’’ / 1.20, 1.45 und 1.70 m to be realized.
The new VINODISC short disc harrow features a sturdy base frame with 2 cross beams for the disc gangs and mounting brackets for trailed rollers. The short construction is a key feature.
Space between gangs 80 cm / 2' 7".

The outer discs can be adjusted for height.
This prevents damming.

Optimized dished coulter discs
These aggressive dished coulters are serrated and have a diameter of 510 mm. Their angle is optimised to intensively mix the soil through with harvest residues. The disc coulters are mounted on sealed bearings and require no maintenance. The bearings are protected by a 6-fold labyrinth seal.

Nonstop stone protection

Mountings
Each disc is individually mounted on a thick-walled square cross section tube (SG 50) using 4 rubberised fittings. These fittings enable the discs to evade foreign objects. A non-stop trip leg system!
No maintenance needed!
