Looking back on Techagro 2010 in Brno (CZ)
Pöttinger on display with its partners
In Brno / Czech Republic, Techagro, Silva Regina and Animal Vetex - the respective trade fairs for agriculture, forestry and livestock - took place between 21 and 25 March 2010 . The organisers announced a record number of 100,000 visitors this year; only 93,000 came to the trade fair two years ago. 713 companies from 21 countries throughout the world exhibited at this event. Despite the difficult economic situation at the moment, contracts amounting to several 10 million Czech Koruna were signed. (10 million CZK corresponds to around EUR 400,000.-- ).
As usual, Pöttinger presented its equipment with its Czech partners in Pavilion V. The stand display focused on several innovations that attracted a great deal of interest from farmers: NOVACAT X 8 mower combination, TOP 972 windrower with a max. working width of 9.8 m, JUMBO 10010 combiline with Tridem axles, SERVO 6.50 NOVA semi-mounted plough with Traction Control, TERRASEM C4 universal seed drill and LION 3002 power harrow combined with VITASEM 302 A mechanical seed drill.
