Pöttinger achieves record turnover once again
Set for continued growth worldwide
The financial year 2006/2007 again brought a top result for the Austrian agricultural machinery manufacturer: a mighty increase in overall turnover of +16.2% bringing the total to EUR 199 million. With 1,000 dedicated employees and a worldwide dealership network, Pöttinger managed to successfully ensure its continued growth.
The tillage sector saw above average growth with + 38.7% to EUR 32.8 million. The grassland sector grew by +11.9% to around EUR 141 million. Spare parts also saw growth of + 12.9% to EUR 16.7 million
Strong in the market

In the grassland market, mowers increased 16.1% compared to the previous year, loader wagons 13.2% and windrowers 13.8%. In the tillage market the highlights are stubble cultivators and disc harrows with a growth of 48.1% and seed drill technology with 41%. Ploughs also gained an impressive 39.6% and power harrows 35.8%. |

Austrian quality counts
Austrian farmers count on quality from Austria, enabling Pöttinger to increase their already high turnover by an additional 2.9%. The development of the tillage sector is particularly impressive with a growth of 10.1% on the previous year. The Austrian market accounts for an impressive 19% of total turnover, confirming the company's Austrian roots.
Pöttinger International - at home all over the globe
The strong increase in turnover is largely attributable to the positive growth in business abroad. The export quota for agricultural technology is 81%. Pöttinger achieved the highest growth in turnover in Poland, Czech Republic/Slovakia, Germany and France. Project business also saw huge successes in the previous year, especially in China.
New standards in customer care
Pöttinger was able to build on its world leadership in the self-loading wagon segment at the same time as extend its pioneering role in the front mower sector. The many years of experience in tillage and seed drill technology had a very positive effect on the development of this product group.
