Pöttinger can rely on 135 years of seed drill technology with their center of excellence in Bernberg, the oldest seed drill manufacturing plant in Europe. The products in the seed drill range extend from pneumatic to mechanical drills and direct-mulch seed drill machines. As a result the Austrian company has expanded its international market position and established itself as an arable specialist. Engineered solution to protect your soil
| Pöttinger has investigated mulch drilling in detail and offers a customized solution with the latest TERRASEM technology. This universal machine can also be used for conventional sowing. The special feature of the Terrasem is its compact, manoeuvrable construction combined with its unique tyre packer system. This prevents damage to the soil due to compaction. The inside and outside wheel gangs are locked together in the field to distribute the weight of the drill evenly for maximum protection to the ground. The weight of the machine is fully supported and distributed across all wheels at the headland. This provides far greater stability on uneven transport routes. Its universal application is underlined by a high-quality compact disc harrow which can be used to replace the standard star disc harrow as a tillage implement leading the drill. The Terrasem concept is rounded off with a precision seed metering system, high quality disc coulters and hydraulic-adjustable seed coulter pressure system. Optimum seed placement and seed drill coverage are ensured on the most challenging of soil conditions. The ISO-BUS compatible ISO Control provides the user with an efficient electronic control system. ISO Control enables direct control – regulating seed metering and supervising the machines functions from the operator terminal at the touch of a button.
